Setup
Tape a 3x3 grid in the centre of the table and provide 5 cups each to the two players. Each set off cups must be distinguishable so that it is clear what team they represent (coloured, graffitied, altered in some way). Each of these cups must be filled with a drink and placed in front of the player on the table ready to begin.
Aim of the Game
Win the game of naughts and crosses by placing 3 empty cups in the grid to form a 3 cup line.
How to Play
On the count of 3, the game begins and each player starts by picking up one of the cups, drinking until empty and then flipping the cup so that it lands on the table upside down.
When a cup is succesffully flipped, it can be placed on the grid and you can move onto the next cup. This continues until one player has a line of 3 cups on the grid.
Once a player has 3 cups in a row, they win the game of naughts and crosses and the game is over.
The losing player must finish the remaining drinks on the table including the winners.
Rules
- No need to take turns, cups can be placed at any time
- A cup must be placed on the grid immediately after finishing the drink.
- All drinks do not have to be finished to win the game.
- If at the end, no drinks are left as punishment, the loser must take a shot instead.
- You cannot move another players cup once it is placed on the grid.
- The cup is flipped right-side-up to upside-down.
