Description: A traditional Mexican shot served as a chaser alongside tequila, intending to cleanse and brighten the palate.

Ingredients 
- Tequila - 50ml
- Tomato juice - 25ml
- Orange juice - 10ml
- Lime juice - 10ml
- Tabasco - 2 dashes
- Ground black pepper - 2 pinches
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Ice - 1 handful
Recipe 
- Fill one shot glass to the brim with the tequila
- Fill a shaker with the tomato juice, orange juice, lime juice, tabasco, pepper, salt and ice.
- Shake until the shaker turns ice cold
- Pour into a second shot glass
Top Tips 
- A shaker is not explicitly needed, however makes sure all ingredients are well mixed as this is tricky to do in a shot glass.
- The tequila should be drank before the sangrita shot which acts as the chaser.
- Grenadine can be added to make the sangrita more sweet
- Grapefruit can be added to make the sangrita more tart
